Welcome to yoshi's page.
Yoshi
Yoshi (Japanese: ???? meaning "better" or "best" or "happy") is from various Nintendo video games and, more commonly, the name of a specific member of that species. Yoshies have very long, sticky tongues, and can swallow almost anything, even things that are much larger than they are. Almost everything they swallow is transformed into (or encased in) a Yoshi egg, which they can throw as a weapon, but not actually hatch into a baby Yoshi. They prefer fruit, although they can and usually will eat other things, including living creatures. Even though they have teeth, these are rarely seen or used. While Yoshi himself is depicted as green, other Yoshies in general come in a variety of colors, including blue, cyan, yellow, orange, red, purple, pink, black, white, and brown.
Baby Yoshis
Baby Yoshis are newborn Yoshis born out of Yoshi Eggs first appearing in Super Mario World. The only Baby Yoshis are found in Star World. Feeding the Baby Yoshis enemies will make them turn into adult Yoshis. It takes roughly six enemies for this to happen. However, if a baby Yoshi eats a star, it'll grow up instantly.
Yoshi Island
Yoshi's Island was yoshis game. It all starts when baby Mario and baby Luigi get attact by Goonies. They take away Luigi but Mario falls saftly on the back of Yoshi. Yoshi notices that he needs to help mario unite and save luigi from Baby Bowser. The only way to save them is to go to baby bowsers castel. Can yoshi make it in time to save luigi and mario. Of coarse he can! All you have to do is save him by defeating over 12 bosses and mini bosses and going through 6 worlds with over 40 levels. Easy right ! If you dont think so it actualy is pritty easy if you know what your doing.

Yoshis Island Enimies
Here is a list of all the enimies in yoshis island
Aqua Lakitus
Aqua Lakitus are a water-dwelling equivalent to the Wall Lakitus in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. They hide underwater, and throw Spiny Eggs at Yoshi. When underwater, their snorkel gear can been seen just above the surface. Yoshi can only defeat an Aqua Lakitu when it comes above the water to attack.
Bats / Fangs
Bats, which may also be called Fangs as they have a subspecies named Glad Fang, are blue bats that have the same mannerisms as the Swoopers. Bats appear in the cave levels of Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Super Princess Peach, and Yoshi's Island DS. When Yoshi (or the protagonist of whatever game they are encountered in) gets too close to one, the Bat will fly in his direction from its sleeping position. For some reason, when Bats fly, small, white dots appear behind them before disappearing. Yoshi can lick one up to make an Egg.
Bats make a brief appearance as an obstacle in the games Mario Kart 64 and Mario Kart DS, on the track Banshee Boardwalk. When the driver enters the old building towards the end of the course, Bats will attack, baring him or her from moving forward. They do not, however, make the driver spin out.
Bats were also seen in Yoshi Touch & Go, where they patrolled ground areas and appeared not only in caves, but also in additional areas such as jungles and fields. These Fangs could only be found sleeping on ceilings in cave stages, and were otherwise always in flight, soaring up and down at varying intervals. If shot down with an egg or stomped, these Bats were worth two points, and encasing them in a bubble could earn the player a Blue Coin. On a related note, Bats were also present in the Balloon Trip tech demo which eventually evolved into the final Yoshi Touch & Go. In Balloon Trip, Bats were found in the sky (an area they were ironically absent from in Yoshi Touch & Go) and continually circled around; such a role was taken up by red Fly Guys in the final Yoshi Touch & Go.
A miniature, unnamed Bat sub-species appeared in Super Princess Peach. These small Bats were always huddled in groups and could be removed from Peach's way with the Rage Vibe. There were also Vibe Infused Bats, known as Glad Fangs, that flew randomly on the screen.
Blow Hard
A Blow Hard is a green cactus that spits Needlenoses at Yoshi in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Island DS. The player has to pound the ground nearby to KO it, but it will wake up a few seconds later. It will always be facing Yoshi, so the player has to be careful. Any solid objects and platforms can stop their projectiles, however.
Boo Blah
A Boo Blah is a kind of ghost that appears in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. This creature sticks to the ceiling or the floor, and jump up periodically. A large majority live inside Bigger Boo's fort along with other spirits and Boos. They are invincible, but are not a problem, they only hurt if you somehow bump into them when they jump up.
They could have been the inspiration for Luigi's Mansion's Ceiling Surprises, who are similar to them.
Boo Guy
A Boo Guy is a type of Shy Guy ghost that first appeared in the game Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. As its name suggests, a Boo Guy looks like a cross between a Boo and a Shy Guy. These ghosts greatly resemble the average Shy Guy, although Boo Guys are completely pale and lack feet. Instead of feet, Boo Guys have a wispy tail similar to a Boo. As such, Boo Guys have the ability to hover just above the ground in order to move around. Presumably, Boo Guys are the spirits of deceased Shy Guys, although it is possible these ghosts are created independently of a creature’s death (as Boos themselves may not be the ghosts of the deceased, but simply an undead species capable of an unknown means of reproduction). Like Shy Guys, Boo Guys are individually weak, but can prove to be a threat in large numbers, especially since Boo Guys have shown the ability to organize and strategize with others of their kind, as well as operate advanced machinery. It is also possible these ghosts are directly related to Boos, given their similar names.
Bubble Dayzees
Bubble Dayzees are purple Crazee Dayzees that will walk a short distance and then blow out bubbles. Yoshi can eat the bubbles and then spit them back out to destroy almost any enemy. Once Yoshi blows them out he'll have to lick up another to keep the improv weapon. The bubbles can only run out if they all pop and the Bubble Dayzee is gone.
Bumpty
Bumpty are a race of penguin-like creatures that first appeared in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. Bumpties were usually found in icy areas simply wandering around. Yoshi couldn't swallow Bumpties (except in Yoshi's Story) and if he ran into one he would be repelled backwards.
They reappeared in Stage 3-4: Frustration in Yoshi's Story. They would still repel Yoshi if he ran into them, but they could be eaten.
A certain Bumpty appeared in Tetris Attack, allied with Dr. Freezegood. In here he was depicted as Yoshi's friend, but enchanted by Bowser and his minions to work for him. Yoshi and Bumpty became friends again after freeing him and Dr. Freezegood from the spell. He also notes in the game, that others say that he's cute, but he really doesn't like it, and would like to be said as cool.
Burts
Burts are round, peach-colored enemies with large red noses and have blue and white striped pants that go up to their eyes. They appeared in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Island DS. Burts attack in pairs. After jumping on its partner, a Burt will get a big boost, and the same goes for Yoshi if it jumps on a Burt. If one was defeated, the other would jump non-stop. Notable Burts include Burt the Bashful and also the Burt Bros.. If killed, these rotund ballerinas will yield two Stars. Burt the Bashful was originally a normal sized Burt but was made bigger by Kamek
Claw Daddy
A Clawdaddy is a cloud-like crab that inhabits the jungles of Yoshi's Island. They're very tough and take three Eggs or a Ground Pound to be defeated. Clawdaddy rush towards a target once the target is spotted, then enlarges one of its claws before lunging and pinching, or spinning it around. This cloud-covered enemy could have inspired the Gnarantula.
Clawdaddy teams up with Prince Froggy during the events of Tetris Attack. However, it first appears in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island.
In Yoshi's Island DS, they are replaced by a very similar enemy, Crabbles.Intrestingly, their eyes do not appear to be attached to thier bodies.
Cloud Drops
Cloud Drops are ghosts that fly in a short line vertically or horizontally in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Yoshi Touch and Go and Yoshi's Island DS. They appear in packs and in areas where Yoshi can turn into a helicopter. They create air traffic and are difficult to maneuver around, but they can be hit on the head, causing them to fly down like a hit plane.
They are possibly related to Gustys and Lava Drops.
Dancing Spear Guys
Dancing Spear Guys are a variant of the Spear Guy which dance (an idea that both Jungle Guys and Chuck Guys caught onto quickly as a call for reinforcements). Additionally, the Dancing Spear Guy's spear is far taller than the normal Spear Guys. They are not to be confused with Limbo Guys. They appear in Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Island DS.
Dancing Spear Guys made a surprise appearance in a Mario Party 4; however, they were holding torches.
Eggo-Dill
An Eggo-Dil is an enemy resembling a daisy in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and its sequel, Yoshi's Island DS. They are flowers with plenty of bright yellow petals that Yoshi can gobble up. They rock these petals back and forth for awhile, but soon spray them in all directions. These petals can damage Yoshi, making an Eggo-Dil a formidable opponent. However, a Ground-Pound would stun it for a short time and cause all the petals to fall off, and a Chomp Rock would destroy it permanently. Yoshis could also eat the petals as they came, and the number the Eggo-Dil petals would slowly decrease in number. The plant's face itself could not hurt Yoshi, though. In Tetris Attack an Eggo-Dil is partnered with Flying Wiggler.
Flopsy Fish
Flopsy Fish are Cheep-Cheeps that either jump out of water or just swim around in the games Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Yoshi Touch and Go, and Yoshi's Island DS. A more aggresive version repediatly jumps out of the water with it's mouth open. They cannot be turned into eggs if Yoshi eats them. The level "Lake Shore Paradise" has one of them as a map screen icon. In Touch and Go, a blue, spiky version appeared that has not been seen since. A Flopsy Fish was paired with Lunge Fish in Tetris Attack.
Frog Pirates
Frog Pirates, though not pirates, are a species of frogs. They live in the swamps and wetlands on Yoshi's Island in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. If a Yoshi comes too close to one, it will lash out it's tongue and steal Baby Mario. Stepping on its head only disables it for a moment, instead, Yoshi should throw an Egg or eat the frog.
The World 3 mid-boss Prince Froggy, swallows a Yoshi whole. He's the only major Frog Pirate known.
In Yoshi's Island DS, there are creatures that are reminiscent of Frog Pirates, but look and act differently. They are called Fleepers.
It is fully unknown that why their breed is being called as "Frog Pirates", but it might be due to the fact that they seem to like stealing things.
Fuzzy
The sole member of the Dudim Phreykunoutonthis enemy group is the Fuzzy, a floating, furry, spore-like creature found in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. When Yoshi made contact or ate a Fuzzy, he would get dizzy, and the whole level would suffer the effects. While in this state, Yoshi may have a hard time walking and aiming eggs, and it will be especially difficult to understand the map well, as the whole background will move and twist around. Fuzzies always appear in large groups and hover all over the field. They have their own level named after them, "Touch Fuzzy Get Dizzy", which is also the first level to feature them.
Blarggs
Gargantua Blarggs are massive Blarggs which resemble Nep-Enuts that reside in lava in the game Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Yoshi's Story (in which they are called Blarggs), and Yoshi's Island DS. These huge creatures attempt to block Yoshi's path by rising from the lava as the dinosaur approaches. To pass by a Gargantua Blargg, Yoshi must throw an egg at the monster's mouth. The fire creature will then sink into the lava, allowing Yoshi to continue his journey.
In the game Tetris Attack, a Gargantua Blargg appears as a ruler of the "Lava World", being allied with Flamer Guy. In here, as many other old enemies of Yoshi, was shown as a friend of Yoshi, being enchanted by Bowser to work for him. He replaces the fire fairy, Flare from the original Japanese version of the game.
In Yoshi's Island DS, they are called Super Big Blarggs, the name "Gargantua Blargg" being given to a new sub-species that crushes rock and lives up to its name by towering more than two screens high on a Nintendo DS.
Goonies
Goonies are white birds found in the games Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Yoshi's Story, and Yoshi's Island DS. They also make a minor appearance in the game Yoshi Touch & Go. Goonies are essentially Dinosaur Land's answer to the seagull. They appear in most mountain levels and are always found in groups. Goonies have many different behaviors; some fly and carry items while the flightless ones run along the ground to create a blockade. Some are very fat and try to squash Yoshis by rolling around like large boulders.
Jumping on their heads is a good way to hitch a ride, but when they appear in large flocks, air traffic becomes a major obstacle.
Grinder
Grinder is a type of monkey who antagonizes Yoshi in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. Grinders usually appear in tropical locations and for unknown reasons seem to enjoy attacking Yoshi without provocation, some of their method of attack include, spitting seeds, dropping bombs and they will sometimes grab Baby Mario. Grinders cannot be defeated with eggs or beaten by being jumped on, it only knocks them out. To take them out, Yoshi has to either eat them, or run over them while they are unconscious.
When hit, they turn a darker shade of brown and run away. They usually jump onto vines and climb them as high as possible, but if a Yoshi gets too close they will run away again. A Grinder appeared in Tetris Attack, being an ally with Poochy. Grinders possibly inspired (or are) the Ukikis from Super Mario 64 and later games. Grinders also made a reappearance in Yoshi's Island DS.
Grunts
Grunts are red-colored Bandits that have spikes on their heads instead of masks in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. They can lose their helmets if they are hit with an egg, resulting in an embarrassed look and running in circles frantically. They don't attack or do anything besides running in the game's various castles
Gusties
Gusties are long, happy ghost-like creatures in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Yoshi Touch and Go and Yoshi's Island DS. They always travel in huge packs, giving Yoshis extra eggs, and making stepping stones to reach high areas. Unfortunately, they fly all over the screen, making quick movements hard.
They appear in levels where the terrain is bumpy and uneven.
Hottie the Blue Fish
Hootie the Blue Fish is a sub-species of Piranha Plant found only in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. They bear a strong resemblance to Jumping Piranha Plants and Piranha Pests; they attack in a manner similar to the latter. Their only appearance is in Naval Piranha's Castle. They hover through the air and patrol a set path, often in pairs. Avoiding a Hootie the Blue Fish can be difficult as their paths will often take them through small tunnels forcing Yoshi to wait for the creature to pass by. They cannot be destroyed by any normal means, but throwing an egg will stun them for several seconds. If a Yoshi makes contact with a Hootie the Blue Fish it will inhale Yoshi and chew on him for a short time before regurgitating the reptile.
Kamek
Kamek, sometimes called Kamek the Evil Magikoopa or by his nickname, Fang, is an old, yet powerful Magikoopa and apparent adviser to Bowser, or at least high-ranking member in the Koopa Troop. He first appeared in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. He is also Baby Bowser's caretaker, and continues to look after Bowser, even in the present day. His name comes from the name for the Magikoopa species in other languages, including Japanese, where they are called "Kameks".
Lantern Ghosts
Lantern Ghosts are lantern-carrying specters that closely resemble a cross between a Duplighost and a Shy Guy. Their smile also makes them resemble the trees from the Forest of Illusion from Super Mario World. Despite hating the light and loving the dark, Lantern Ghosts can never be found without a lit lantern. They have close ties with Shy Guys, as seen in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Paper Mario, and Yoshi's Island DS. In Yoshi's Island they are in the cave levels, and almost always in the darkest parts so only their lanterns' light is seen. They are essentially the Shy Guys of caves in Yoshi's Island games, where their mechanics are no different than those of Shy Guys.
Lava Drops
Lava Drops are small, floating, fireball-like enemies found in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and it's remake Super Mario Advance 3: Yoshi's Island. He moves either up and down, or left and right. The player can barely destroy him, so he has to be avoided completely. They appear in various cave levels and in groups. He can be killed with a Middle Ring.
Lava Drops surprisingly appear in Mario Party 8 and in this game they do not fly. Instead they look more like Podoboos and they appear in one level.
Little Mousers
Little Mousers, also known as Squeeks are a species of small, mice-like creatures who wear bandannas that obscure their faces; though never officially stated, its possible that Little Mousers are relatives of the Mousers of Super Mario Bros. 2.
The first appearance of Little Mousers was in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, were they appeared infrequently as enemy creatures who would try to steal a Yoshi's egg and scurry away with it, into their burrows.
Little Mousers later appeared in Mario Kart Super Circuit as obstacles in the Cheese Land course.
In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Little Mousers were renamed Squeeks and were shown to be one of the primary inhabitants of Rogueport and Rogueport Sewers; a white Squeek, known as Ms. Mowz also appears in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door as an optional partner of Mario.
The most recent appearance of a Little Mouser was in Mario Party Advance, where a Little Mouser named Mouser appears as the boss and owner of the Duel Tower.
Melon Bug
Melon Bugs are little ant-like bugs that can roll into balls in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. They're called Melon Bugs because when rolled up the streaks across their body makes them look like a melon.
They bob up and down but when Yoshi gets too close, they hide. Stay in the air when the bugs touch the ground and they'll keep jumping. Eat one and then spit it out so it will roll into and defeat any enemy. They cannot harm Yoshi; in fact, they help him! Rolling one along the ground or spitting one into an enemy will instantly defeat it; even Tap-Taps will be destroyed!
Mildes
Mildes are small, pink balls that appear in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. They march around in lines and are most common in Marching Milde's fort. Like balloons, they pop if a Yoshi steps on one. After a Yoshi pops one of these enemies, all the others around it would float away a little bit. A few of them are very large and have to be Ground Pounded to be defeated.
Wild Ptooip piranha
A Wild Ptooie Piranha is a slow-moving Wild Piranha that shoots Needlenoses at Yoshi. It has green color opposed to the regular red of any Piranha Plant. It also takes three hits to defeat. After the first hit, it turns yellow, then red before finally being defeated with the next strike. Chomp Rocks and Eggs thrown by Baby Donkey Kong can defeat it instantly. Wild Ptooie Piranhas are only known to appear in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Yoshi Touch & Go (where they spat Spiny Eggs, which could be destroyed with an egg or stylus tap, rather than Needlenoses), and Yoshi's Island DS.
Their name seems to suggest that they're related to Ptooies (another type of Piranha Plant), but it is unknown whether they are or not.
Mufti Guys
Mufti Guys are Shy Guys in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Island DS. They wear flowers on their head and use them to hide by crouching down on the ground so that Yoshi can only see the flowers. When Yoshi gets close to where they are hiding, they will get up and try to hurt Yoshi. When they get up, they still have flowers on their head.
A Mufti Guy named Petal Guy appears in Mario Party Advance. One of the player's quests involves helping him tell a Wiggler Fly named Flutter that he is in love with her.
Spy Guys from Paper Mario resemble Mufti Guys.
Nep-Enut
Nep-Enut is a huge, blue monster that hides underwater in the games Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Island DS. Nep-Enut will remain submerged until Yoshi approaches him. Then, the monster will rise, blocking Yoshi's path. If Nep-Enut's mouth is hit with an egg, he will return to the water to hide (and only his eyebrows will remain visible). If Yoshi jumps over the giant monster, Nep-Enut will give chase. In Yoshi's Story, Nep-Enuts are only found in the Piranha Grove. Nep-Enuts are much bigger and more detailed in Yoshi's Island DS than in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island.
Ravens
Ravens are black, flightless birds that seem to be both allies and enemies of Mario.
Chomp Sharks / Shark Chomps
Chomp Sharks, or Shark Chomps, are giant sized Chain Chomps without a chain in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. Although they aren't underwater, they can fly, and this is a trouble for Yoshis and Baby Mario. The second-to-last level in the game is called "KEEP MOVING!!!", and for good reason too. Several Chomp Sharks appear and make backtracking impossible.
A Chomp Shark also appears in Yoshi's Island DS at world 5-1. Also some giant sized and golden Tap-Taps use a similar attack style to Chomp Sharks in this game.
There will be a point where the Chomp Shark will get hit by a wall, and get his teeth broken. Then he will fall down crying. They usually only appear in areas with breakable platforms over a bottomless pit.
Sluggers
Sluggers are yellow Bandits that hold baseball bats around the time of Super Mario World 2: Yoshi' Island and the sequel, Yoshi's Island DS. They use teamwork with their green-colored counterparts, Green Gloves. If a Yoshi throws an Yoshi Egg toward one, the Sluggers will hit it back with the bat. Although it won't hurt them, it might push them. If a Yoshi throws a Chomp Rock at them, they will hit it back at Yoshi.
If Yoshi's hit it can knock him off a platform and into a bottomless pit. Ground Pounding their heads or stepping on them repeatedly will defeat them. They can be used to reach items like Flowers that are out of reach by ricocheting an egg off a wall.
Sluggies
Sluggies are hairy slug-like enemies found in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. They come in three colors: green, red, and blue. Sluggies can fall on Yoshi from the ceilings, but only appeared in Sluggy the Unshaven's fort.
Sluggy the Unshaven is the only notable Sluggy in the Marioverse.
Spray Fish
Spray Fish are blue fish in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Island DS. They appear in several fortresses and castles and shoot out a diagonal jet of water. It's almost like a wall and impossible to go through. Wait for them to submerge or shoot an egg at their head.
It's possible they're related to Cheep-Cheeps and the Blue Blurps from Yoshi's Story. Hot Lips (from the original Super Mario World 2) may also be a lava version of the Spray Fish (as he has an identical, though much more dangerous, attacking pattern).
Stretch Guys
Stretches, or Stretch Guys are enemies that are encountered in the Yoshi series. These variants of Shy Guys are taller and thinner than ordinary Shy Guys. Yoshi cannot defeat them by jumping on them; instead, when jumped on, Stretches get flattened and spit out watermelon seeds. If Yoshi kept at least one of these Shy Guys around, he could easily take out other enemies nearby.
Tap-Taps
Tap-Taps are small, spike-covered enemies that walk back and forth in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. The silver ones walk off of platforms, unlike the pink ones. Sometimes they'll hop up and down. They can't be hurt in any normal way, except for an egg. A quick egg will send one flying backwards, and if it hits another, the other one will be destroyed.
Tap-Taps have also appeared in Yoshi Topsy-Turvy, Yoshi Touch & Go (whose manual erroneously labeled them as Spiked Fun Guys), and Yoshi's Island DS, where they behaved similarly.
Toadies
Toadies are enemies from that first appeared in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. They usually travel in groups of four and are the minions of Kamek the Magikoopa.
In Yoshi's Island, four red-cloaked Toadies will carry Baby Mario away if Yoshi allows him to float free for too long. There were also the seldom seen green Solo Toadies who would swipe Baby Mario if he fell off Yoshi's back, and another dark pink variety that would swoop in and seize the baby immediately after he was dislodged from Yoshi. Unlike the red Toadies, the Solo Toadies did not fly off to Kamek immediately but would hover around with Baby Mario, making it difficult for Yoshi to get him back.
The Toadies reprised their role in the direct sequel to Yoshi's Island, Yoshi's Island DS. Serving the Kamek who had traveled back in time, the Toadies also kidnap babies from all over the Mushroom Kingdom, some of them being foiled by the Stork. Toadies also appeared in the mini-game Scratch and Match, which is featured as a bonus challenge in Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Island DS.
